It’s Dora the Explorer in her biggest DVD release of 2008, Dora Saves the Snow Princess! If you have a preschooler in your home then chances are you know who Dora the Explorer is.

For those of you unfamiliar with everything Dora let me fill you in.

Dora, the lovable Hispanic girl, along with her best friend Boots (a cute little monkey in red boots) take you on a fun adventure in each episode. You are introduced to Dora’s other friends including Map the Map, Benny the Bull, Isa the Iguana and Tico (who I think is a squirrel) as they embark on their journey. You can also help Dora and her friends solve problems along the way.

Every episode also features the infamous Swiper the Fox. You must help Dora stop Swiper from swiping things by screeching “Swiper No Swiping!” . Now you can’t just say it, ask any child, they will tell you that you have the yell it otherwise he just won’t hear you!.

This latest Dora the Explorer DVD from Nickelodeon features four episodes including :

SUPER SPIES  where  Dora and Boots need your help to use their spy glasses and Swiper Detector to stop Swiper from swiping Isa’s cupcakes.

SUPER SPIES 2:  THE  SWIPING MACHINE  where Dora and Boots need your help while they race to stop Swiper from swiping Tico’s birthday presents.

ROJO THE FIRE TRUCK  - Rojo the shiny fire truck needs help from Dora, boots and you as he goes on his first rescue mission to save a kitten.

PINTO, THE PONY EXPRESS - Cowgirl Dora and Cowboy Boots need your help while they ride Pinto the Pony through the Wild West to deliver their cowboy cookies.

This DVD encourages children to learn some Spanish language skills, visual and spacial skills, sound matching and counting.

Some special features include: a bonus feature “Say it Two Ways With Dora”, Full screen format, Dolby Digital Stereo sound in English, Spanish and French.

Undercover Dora was released by Nickelodeon in January 2008 and the DVD runs for 98 minutes.  If you kids love Dora then this DVD is a must.
